A scholarship has been established in memory of former Corning resident Margaret O'Brien Dunphy provides an annual award of $2,500 to benefit a student from Corning-Painted Post School District graduating from either East or West High Schools or Elmira Notre Dame High School. The selection committee is looking for a student with an outstanding academic record, leadership skills, and a commitment to the community.
Applications are availabe at the East, West, and Notre Dame guidance offices and at www.communityfund.org.
